Felicity

Felicity (previously Face Recognition Photo Organizer) is an offline, standalone Windows app that automatically finds and groups every photo of the same person across your entire library. Instead of sorting thousands of photos by hand, it reads the faces for you and puts everyone together — you just give each person a name.

Everything runs locally. There's no internet connection, no account, and no data collection; all of the face recognition happens on your own machine. Your originals are never touched — the app only reads them, and never moves, renames, edits, or deletes a file. Since version 0.8.0 it's free for both personal and commercial use.

How it works

The app scans your photo folders once to find every face, then groups faces that look alike into the same person. After that first scan you can re-tune how strict the matching is at any time without re-scanning, so experimenting is fast.

Felicity focuses on doing one thing well — face-based organisation. It's Windows-only, and it isn't a photo editor or a full library manager.
